The tests were conducted on the new Windows 8 platform. TrustPort Antivirus ranked in the first place with its 95,25 % score in detection of malware, whilst the product did not report any false positives.

Testing was conducted within the month of August 2012, and TrustPort Antivirus reached a very good placing from the competing 36 products. It is because of excellent malware detection, which reached 95,9 per cent! The product did not report any false positives, and thus TrustPort successfully defended the VB100 reward.
